Good news! Amhwa Biology ProEnzy ™ enzyme cutting technology obtained the national invention patent


Recently, the ProEnzy™ enzymatic digestion technology for the preparation of small molecule sodium hyaluronate, namely "a method for the preparation of small molecule hyaluronate or its salt", was declared by Amhwa Biology. It has been officially authorized by the State Intellectual Property Office and granted the certificate of Chinese Invention patent, which is a breakthrough in the field of biological engineering technology in our country.

ProEnzy™ enzyme digestion technology uses the hyaluronidase produced by Lactobacillus plantarum in combination with low-temperature spray drying to decompose small molecules of hyaluronic acid. The molecular weight of the hyaluronidase solution is between 500kDa-700kDa, and the molecular weight of the hyaluronic acid or its salt is between 1kDa-60kDa.Hyaluronic acid or its salts were obtained by enzyme inactivation, activated carbon adsorption, microporous filtration membrane filtration, and low-temperature spray drying.

The hyaluronidase involved in the preparation process is derived from Lactobacillus plantarum, which can be used in food as a probiotic. The produced hyaluronidase has high safety, and the small molecule hyaluronic acid or its salt prepared by the degradation is safe and reliable, high purity, and good transdermal absorption, which is very suitable for medicine, cosmetics, and food fields.

ProEnzy™ technology uses an advanced low-temperature spray drying process to prepare small molecule hyaluronic acid solid powder, which offers high yield, no pollution, low energy consumption, and no organic solvent residues compared to traditional alcohol precipitation methods. Compared with the traditional drying method, spray drying is completed at a material lower than 80℃, and the minimum air inlet temperature can be about 40℃. Adopting this method to prepare small molecule hyaluronic acid can preserve the structural integrity and biological activity of the molecule to the maximum extent.
